Outdoor Open Play 

The outdoor pickleball season enables a Surrey Pickleball Club member to register him/herself at one of three sites in Surrey during the period April 22nd to September 30th, 2024. 

Open Play is also known as “paddles up” with players able to come and go as they please, selecting who they play with by placing paddles in the fence or on the rack to create a foursome. 

Open Play is unstructured so if 4 players wish to book and play during this time they can do so as long as others who register are not left unincluded. Conversely, if 2-3 players do not fit the skill level of another group, they can use the time to drill or play variations of the game.

All members MUST be in good standing with Pickleball Canada (PCO). Failure to do so will result in booking privileges being revoked. PCO membership can be obtained here. 

There will be a play Captain for each session who will check players in. The QR code on the confirmation email or on the Wild Apricot mobile app is required to check in.

Cancellation Policy: Members can cancel their registration by signing into the SPC website, clicking on their name, clicking on my event registrations, and then cancelling the event they want to cancel. Through the Wild Apricot App, members click on the event tab a the bottom of the page, click in the event, and then cancel.
