SPC hosts three pickleball tournaments each year.

YOUTH SUMMER SLAM
The Youth Summer Slam is a tournament for 12- to 18-year-olds. It is segregated into age groups and levels of play. So, it attracts both novice and experienced junior players.

It is the only tournament in Canada dedicated to our junior players. It allows our juniors to test their skills against junior from other clubs in Greater Vancouver.

In 2024, the Youth Summer Slam will be held on July 18 at the South Surrey Recreation Park. Advanced registration will open on May 19, 2024, 3:00pm for members. You can register for the tournament at pickleballbrackets.com or click "Register for Youth SUMMER SLAM"

MID-SUMMER SLAM
The Mid-Summer Slam is a pickleball tournament sanctioned by Pickleball Canada and is open to the public. It is now in its fourth year and entrants have increased to over 400 players. The events include men’s and women’s singles, skinny singles and doubles and mixed doubles by level of play and for under and over 60 years of age.

In 2024, the Mid-Summer Slam will be held on July 19th to July 21st at the South Surrey Recreation Centre. Advanced registration will open on May 16, 2024, 9:00pm for members and normal registration on May 20, 2024, 8:00am. GRIP’N RIPThe Grip’n Rip is a pickleball tournament sanctioned by Pickleball Canada and is open to the public. It is now in its second year and entrants have increased to over 400 players. The events include men’s and women’s singles, skinny singles and doubles and mixed doubles by level of play and for under and over 60 years of age.
